Union State patriotic forum in Brest
The second international patriotic forum of the Union State Great Heritage, Shared Future opened in Brest on 20 June.
The three-day forum is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War. Discussions will focus on preserving the shared historical memory, promoting patriotic education among younger generations through historical knowledge, fostering civic responsibility and patriotism, encouraging respect for the military and labor achievements of previous generations, preserving historical and cultural heritage, and protecting historical truth. Special attention will also be paid to countering neo-Nazi ideology as a threat to the contemporary world order.
