Grodno marks 82 years since liberation from Nazi invaders
On the anniversary of the city’s liberation from the Nazi invaders, Grodno held a rally and a wreath-laying ceremony at the monument to Soviet soldiers and partisans in Gilibert Park.Time marches inexorably forward, but there are dates that are not subject to time. They are carved in the granite of memorials, woven into the city streets, and forever seared into the Belarusian memory.
