New memorial plaque to Red Army soldiers in Brest
A new memorial plaque dedicated to the defenders of the Fatherland was unveiled on the Memory Alley at the Garrison Cemetery in Brest on 2 September. The plaque honors Red Army soldiers from Moscow Oblast who fought to defend the Brest Fortress in 1941 and returned to liberate the area in 1944.
