Dazhynki 2026 in Miory
The Dazhynki 2026 regional harvest festival as held in Miory. In the run-up to Dazhynki, the town carried out extensive improvements across more than 150 sites: the central square and the nearby park, where paving slabs and curbs were laid and new benches installed. A small architectural feature about 4.5 m high, installed there, will become a symbol of the district. It depicts the area’s landmarks: cranes, cranberries, the Yelnya, the waterfall and the church. The streets have also been spruced up: more than 20 sections have been asphalted, and the pedestrian area on the embankment has been fully paved with slabs. Major repairs were also carried out on the housing stock, and educational and cultural institutions have taken on a new look. The Yelnya Landscape Reserve and the town of Disna have also been transformed for the festival.
