Belarusian, Swiss orthopedists team up for pioneering operation
As part of the nationwide scientific and practical seminar Modern Approaches to Endoprosthetics of Large Joints at the National Scientific and Practical Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics, a landmark workshop was held featuring leading traumatologists-orthopedists from Belarus and Switzerland. The operation was performed using innovative instrumentation for kinematic alignment. This advanced technique makes it possible to install the implant with maximum consideration for the patient’s individual anatomy, preserving the natural biomechanics of movement. Belarus has become the first country in the CIS to apply this innovative approach in practice.
