Belarus hosts humanitarian mission to reunite Russian, Ukrainian families
Belarus once again served as a platform for a family reunification humanitarian mission on 22 October, with 11 people traveling from Russia to join their relatives in Ukraine and three people returning to their loved ones from Ukraine. The humanitarian corridor was organized at the Novaya Guta checkpoint on the Belarusian-Ukrainian border. On Belarusian soil, the travelers, mostly elderly people and those with limited mobility, were provided with hot meals before continuing their journey to join their families. The menu included soup, pancakes, buckwheat with meat, fruits, and drinks.
