Festival of National Cultures in Grodno
Grodno is hosting the 15th edition of the Festival of National Cultures. This year’s celebration is dedicated to the 30-year history and traditions of the festival, which has been held every two years since 1996. The anniversary forum features 800 representatives of 42 ethnicities. The program includes over 100 events, taking place on 5 and 6 June in the historic center of Grodno, and on 7 June at the Augustow Canal. Twenty national pavilions (including the Belarusian one) will showcase cultural heritage, traditions, creative projects, and national cuisine dishes. A highlight of the first festival day is a large-scale theatrical procession. Symbolically, during the Year of the Belarusian Woman, the festival banner will be carried by women of different nationalities.
