Tikhon Korneyenko among winners of Rosatom’s competition 

In 2026, Tikhon Korneyenko, a student at Alferov Gymnasium No. 1 of Vitebsk, became a winner in the Icebreaker of Knowledge organized with the support of Rosatom Corporation. This is an international competition offering winners a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join an expedition to the North Pole and ex-plore Russia’s nuclear technologies.
Tikhon successfully completed three rounds of qualify-ing tests, scoring top marks in nearly all of them.  Together with other winners, he will set off in early August on a nearly two-week Arctic expedition aboard the 50 Years of Victory nuclear icebreaker.
