Summer fun on Gomel’s beaches
A week ago, an unprecedented heatwave swept across the country, hitting Belarus and especially Gomel. City residents are seizing every chance to beat the heat by heading to the nearest recreation areas along the shores of rivers and lakes. For instance, Gomel’s beaches offer plenty of fun: visitors can rent paddleboats, rowboats, and stand-up paddleboards, or enjoy inflatable water rides. Special pontoons have been set up for smooth entry into the water, while children can have fun at the beachfront playgrounds.
