Murmansk Commercial Sea Port
Russia’s Murmansk Oblast is interested in transporting Belarusian cargo through Murmansk Commercial Sea Port. The Murmansk transport hub is regarded as a stabilizing factor for more customary logistics routes. In March of this year, the Murmansk Bulk Terminal arranged, at short notice, an unscheduled reception of Belarusian potash redirected from the Baltic, and handled its transshipment and export. Plans for a Belarusian port in Murmansk are likewise still relevant, and a site has already been chosen — the western coast of the Kola Bay.
