BRICS Summit in New Delhi
The 18th BRICS Summit was held in New Delhi on 12-13 September. The main theme of the current Indian BRICS chairmanship is Building Resilience and Innovation for Cooperation and Sustainability. Belarus took part in the summit as a BRICS partner state. On the instructions of President Aleksandr Lukashenko, the country was represented at the summit by Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov. The key event on 13 September, the second day of the forum, was the open session dedicated to resilience, innovation, cooperation and self-realization.
