Water Lantern Festival in Minsk
Thousands of glowing lanterns were launched onto the water by Minsk residents during the Water Lantern Festival at the Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The festival of lights was held at the Botanical Garden for the first time. Organizers prepared a laser show and a concert program for the many guests, while the lanterns illuminated the water surface around a giant moon installation.
