Tatyana Pechurko and her husband Stanislav team up for the harvest
The harvest season at the Derevnoye agricultural company in Stolbtsy District kicked off on 12 July. The company looks to harvest record yields across all crops, with rapeseed currently yielding 38 centners per hectare. Working at the farm is the district’s only female harvester operator Tatyana Pechurko, who has been taking part in the harvest campaign for the third year running. This season, her assistant is her husband, Stanislav Pechurko. This year, the family crew plans to harvest at least as much as in 2025 — 2,000 tonnes of grain.
