Strawberry Full Moon over Belarus
Stargazers could observe the stunning strawberry full moon in the skies over the Grodno Oblast on the night of 30 June. Positioned low on the horizon, the Moon often creates an illusion of size and takes on a golden, orange, or reddish tint caused by atmospheric scattering. The June full moon is traditionally called the Strawberry Moon – a name originating from the wild strawberry harvest season among Native American tribes.
