Belarus’ border guards allow vehicles into Berestovitsa checkpoint territory
BERESTOVITSA DISTRICT, 17 November (BelTA) — Belarusian border guards have started allowing vehicles into the territory of the Berestovitsa border checkpoint (Bobrowniki on the Polish side), BelTA has learned.
As the State Border Committee of Belarus previously stated, the Belarusian side has not closed the checkpoints and is fully prepared for operations. All necessary preparatory measures have been completed. The committee noted that customs infrastructure at the border checkpoints with Poland has been upgraded and expanded, with technical equipment functioning normally.
According to an official notification from the Polish side, the closed checkpoints Kuznica Bialostocka and Bobrowniki will begin operating at 2:00 am on 17 November.
