A rainbow trout farm opens in Stolbtsy District
An enterprise to farm rainbow trout has been opened in Stolbtsy District, Minsk Oblast. The project has been implemented by the Belarusian National Biotechnology Corporation. The project to farm rainbow trout leverages contemporary mariculture technologies. It has been named Fish Residence Alterra. The project has been implemented for the sake of import substitution of products made from valuable species of fish.
