Belarus’ PM reviews greenhouse construction
The implementation of investment projects to build greenhouses in the country was examined by Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin using the unitary enterprise Agrokombinat Zhdanovichi in Minsk District as an example. In 2026 greenhouse vegetables are grown using the supplementary lighting technology by ten Belarusian greenhouse operators on an area of 58.2ha. In the off-season period of 2025-2026 they produced 14,400 tonnes of cucumbers, 8,100 tonnes of tomatoes, and 256.8 tonnes of green salads.
